Thursday Night Talk Shows
Our Thursday Night Talk Show Series features a different talk show every Thursday at 8 pm. The Council Connection airs on the first Thursday of every month and is sponsored by the Bay State Council of the Blind. Join host Chris Devin to hear updates from BSCB and coverage of special events as well as interesting stories from visually impaired members of the community.
In Focus, a talk show sponsored by the Association of Blind Citizens,
airs on the second Thursday of the month at 8 pm. The purpose of the Association
of Blind Citizens (ABC) is to advance relevant causes, increase opportunities
in education, employment, cultural, recreational and other life activities,
as well as enhance the social, political and economic well being for all
persons who are blind or visually impaired.
Tune in on the third Thursday of every month to hear Let’s Talk
About It, hosted by Susan Price. Let’s Talk About It is a psychology
talk program exploring a variety of issues, from motivation and decision-making
to relationships, depression and a host of other topics. Host Susan Price
is a licensed mental health therapist practicing on the South Shore.
The fourth Thursday of the month is reserved for Accent on Ability,
a production of our affiliate, The Audio Journal in Worcester. Accent on Ability is an interview program focusing on issues of interest to the
disability community.

Every weekday at 5:30 pm, host and producer Rich Mahanor announces a selection of events from the Boston Globe Calendar section. The Calendar Update also includes a reading of the evening broadcast schedule, a business update, and a weather report.
