Turning Print Into Sound

TIC NETWORK ENTIRE WEB

Welcome

The Talking Information Center broadcasts the reading of printed material over an extensive network of commercial and noncommercial radio and cable TV outlets. Twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, we help keep the visually-impaired and print-handicapped population of Massachusetts better informed.

Volunteer readers needed

Do you have the right voice for radio? Would you like to help thousands of blind and print impaired people throughout Massachusetts read the daily newspaper, or a good book? If you can read well aloud, if you're dependable, committed, and can give as little as an hour a week, please call us to arrange to take our volunteer reader audition test. If you pass the test, you could have a rewarding volunteer career helping others. Call us at 781-834-4400 to schedule an appointment. Click here for more information on volunteering for TIC.
