On most browsers, you can adjust the browser's display settings to optimize
character fonts and colors to your liking.
How To Adjust Font Size
Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Disable page-specified font sizes:
- From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options,
and then click the General tab.
- Click Accessibility.
- Select the Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages
check box.
- Click OK to close the Accessibility
dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options
dialog box.
- Change the browser's default text size: From the View
menu, choose Text Size, and then choose from the listed
text sizes (from Smallest to Largest).
Netscape Navigator 4.x
- On the View menu, click Increase Font
or Decrease Font.
Netscape Navigator 6.x and greater
- On the View menu, click Text Size,
and then select a size.
How To Adjust Font Style
Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Disable page-specified fonts:
- From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options,
and then click the General tab.
- Click Accessibility.
- Select the Ignore Font Styles Specified on Web Pages
check box.
- Click OK to close the Accessibility dialog box.
- Change the browser's default text styles:
- On the Internet Options dialog box, click Fonts.
- In the Web Page Font and Plain Text Font lists, click the font
names you want the browser to use.
- Click OK to close the Fonts dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog
box.
Netscape Navigator 4.x and above
- On the Edit menu, select Preferences.
- In the Category pane, open the Appearance node and
click Fonts.
- Select the typefaces and size values you want.
- Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.
